Women are a major driving factor in the development of CWM, but in many societies Women have been referred to be a marginalized group (also in Uganda). 

Women’s Desk

Women are a major driving factor in the development of CWM, but in many societies Women have been referred to be a marginalized group (also in Uganda). For this reason, CWM has offered a separate desk for Women to enable them to speak freely about their challenges.

This desk offers:

  • An opportunity for them to share about their experiences
  • Women Empowerment in the society
  • Counseling of Members
  • Encouragement to Women to participate leadership
  • Dialogue on Cultural values that impact on them
  • Identification of projects which are viable for Women
  • Linkage for young girls with the Movement

In many cases Women´s Desks have their own projects, e.g. ointments or Accessories, which get more and more popular
